What Some Of Our Volunteers Think...

I want the many stupid conflicts of our world to go away, so that our coming generations can live in harmony. I want people to respect each others, treasure differences between cultures, languages, races, countries, etc., and that our youth be given a chance to build and maintain a feeling of self respect. I want our youth to learn how to network through the Internet, and learn how to use this wonderful resourse. Odd de Presno from Norway . Executive Director.

I want a clean world, without wars, prejudice or hate. Epi from Puerto Rico (US) , The Kidlink Hall Of Fame. Assistant Director

I wish we humans can be better and better in this process of evolution, where we are sensitive enough to the issues and problems. The world full of people, who are Loving, caring, and sharing, is the world of my dream. I'd want people to find happiness innerly. We have come a long way. Think about a century back, when people (read Kings) used to take pride in fighting a war, today it's a taboo. Although we have many many problems in today's world, I'm sure we are moving ahead, slowly but firmly, and I'm hopeful. I do like adaptiveness of today's young generation, today's technology, and I am hopeful about the progress of us all in this world. Roopal from India Board member. Areas: KidArt. Gujarati, The Kidlink Hall Of Fame

There seems to be great differences in religion, solidarity and respect among nations all over the world. The Western world tries to change the world into what they believe it should be, with little regard for the believes of other countries. At the same time, the other countries oppose such a regime which is cause for radicalism and terrorism. I hope in time, people will stop trying to convince one another of their believes, and find a way where all religions, believes, cultures and opinions can co-exist in peace. Robbert from Netherlands . The Kidlink Hall Of Fame

Dreaming is allowed. Opinions are allowed. Feelings can be expressed. We listen to each other. The nature is Cleaner. We have less conflicts. No weapons. The hand guns are banned. I look forward to a world where equal opportunities for all People is a goal more important than Money and Power for the few. Anne-Tove from Norway . Area: KidArt. The Kidlink Hall Of Fame

I love to help others learn to use technology. I also love to read! I want to see harmony....peace... people loving, respecting and appreciating each other. I hope there are no more wars and terrorism. I also hope people of all races and cultural backgrounds can try to understand others' culture and customs and try to seek the similarities rather than the differences. I guess seeking what we have in common and understand the existence of differences rationally will make the world a better place to be. Jing from China . Chinese language manager.

I would like the world to be less polluted, war less and over all rights-equal for everybody. Grace from Peru . Software development and technical support.

I want people in the future to go back to valuing the very simple joys of life. There is too much emphasis these days on consumerism. I want people to waste less money on material things and to find value in the simple things, such as friendship, family, a beautiful view and lovely sound. Not everything that is new is valuable. Old things should also be valued! I believe that the above will create a better world, less competitive and materialistic. People will be busy nurturing their families instead of looking for violent, harmful and wasteful things to do with their time. Ora from Israel Area: KidProj

I still long for justice, harmony and mutual understanding among people. Miriam from Brazil The Kidlink Hall Of Fame.

If we can get rid of fear anger hatred from the world by educating people to live simple and with less personal desire, so we can all live to serve others, the world would be a lot happier place. and I hope I can bring that message to more people around me. Tina from United States . Chinese language translation team.

I'd like Moscow to have a better safety net for socio-economically disadvantaged people (especially children, the elderly and refugees). I'd like to see more blue sky in Anyang, China and more opportunities for academic/career advancement based on merit rather than personal connections. In Poland I'd like to see populism and xenophobia fall by the wayside, and more chances for young people to get a good start at home rather than be compelled to go abroad to support themselves and their families. In Burlington County, New Jersey I'd like to see more effort in the direction of sustainable development and for local politics to be less personal and more accountable. Colleen from United States Translation team Polish.

Countries and people must be friends. The World to be free. Diana Alexandra from Romania Area: KidArt.

Truth and justice, freedom and peace: and these are not only words. Our political representatives show a country which is not the real one but only the one of people who have money and it is not the majority. The gap between poor and rich people is constantly increasing and this is creating social uneasiness. Our leaders are only interested in passing laws which can help them in their affairs and protect them from judiciary courts. They own all TVs and most newspapers. They decided to take part in a war even if our constitution says that wars are not the solution. They changed our constitution in order to be allowed to do what they wanted. And you know that they say that we are a democracy? Graziella from Italy Italian language manager. The Kidlink Hall Of Fame

I want everyone to realize that the problems of the world may be great but they are not insurmountable. Each and everyone of us can make a difference. I would like to see a world where people are more concerned with doing what is right, than with who is right. I want my children to live in a world where the air is safe to breath, the water is clean and drinkable and there is enough for everyone, and people do not need to live in fear of each other, because they have come to realize that we all need each other. I believe the world is made of a diversity of places, people, and experiences that reveals such richness and beauty. I would like people to see that these qualities of beauty and richness are things we all share, and that there is a oneness to the world that many have begun to lose sight of today. We are more the same than different; we all inhabit the world, breathing the same air and eating the same foods yeilded by our planet Earth. We all laugh, cry, get angry, and seek happiness.
