Convince Them!

To make politicians understand the importance
of
stopping gambling, you must say it in
new
, interesting, funny or exciting ways.

Art by Valentina, Italy , 2001

Tell politicians that a huge number of kids are against gambling. Show what kids in Kidlink say. Help make our list longer by adding more names! Surprise newspaper readers, radio listeners, or TV viewers with the number of kids you have found; changes in the number of kids with this dream for the future by year; interesting things they have said (including what they suggest may be done!). Seek collaboration with other Kidlink kids:
  • artists - funny, exciting, convincing pictures, movies, sculptures, whatever
  • KidTech - maybe they can make software to analyze and present what you find better? Maybe they have ideas about how to automate or strengthen your contacts with media?
  • acting - maybe they can make some plays that could be recorded in Flash to promote No Gambling over the internet? Maybe they have some other funny or exciting idea? Humour is a strong weapon
  • dance - What about a No Gambling Dance?
  • fashion - Think about it: What if one million kids were walking down the streets with clearly No Gambling clothes on? What an advertisement of your opinion!
  • journalists/writers - to communicate with all media, and more.
